Welcome! I'm a wife of 26 years and a mother to two adult daughters. I've also had the privilege of being a foster mother. IFS is a therapeutic approach that views the mind as composed of various "parts," each with its own perspectives, feelings, and roles. In IFS coaching, we work to understand and heal these parts, allowing you to connect with your core, or "Self," which is your true essence. This process fosters inner harmony and self-compassion.
Somatic coaching involves working with the body to support emotional and psychological healing. It recognizes that the body stores experiences, and by paying attention to physical sensations and movements, we can release old patterns, reduce stress, and promote well-being. This approach complements the mental and emotional work done in IFS.
IFS and Somatic coaching are highly complementary. While IFS focuses on the inner world of thoughts and emotions, Somatic coaching addresses how these are manifested in the body. By integrating both, we can achieve a deeper, more holistic healing experience that honors the mind-body connection.
In our sessions, we'll start by checking in with how you're feeling and any current concerns. We'll explore your inner world, using IFS techniques to identify and understand the different parts of yourself. Simultaneously, we'll tune into your body, noticing sensations and patterns that may be linked to your emotional experiences. To begin, you can reach out to schedule a free consultation. This allows us to discuss your needs and see if my approach is a good fit for you. If it turns out that another practitioner might be better suited to support you, I’m happy to refer you to someone who can. From there, we can schedule your first session and start your healing journey together.
I believe that everyone, regardless of their economic situation, should have access to this healing modality. Therefore, I operate on a "pay what you feel the session is worth" basis. This approach allows you to contribute what you can, based on the value you receive and your current financial circumstances.

In addition to my professional experience, I am a mother to two adult daughters, a veteran, a survivor of childhood trauma, and a wife of 26 years. These life experiences have profoundly shaped my understanding and empathy, allowing me to connect with clients on a deeper level and provide support that resonates with their own challenges and triumphs.
